It’s easy to get bogged down in front of the computer and forget why you do what you do, get complacent and lose that drive and excitement to make the most out of a career (or hobby) in Nature Photography.
For me Photography is not just a job it’s a lifestyle, it’s a way of doing what I love, being outdoors and being around my family at the same time. To make the most of this lifestyle it’s important to remember why we do the things we do when the computer’s are crashing or the clients aren’t paying bills (not that we have any of those).
So when you need a bit of inspiration where do you turn?
Personally I look at the photographers I revere, their images and lifestyles and that refuels my dreams and reminds me why I love my job. Without dreams what is the point, if we are not striving to achieve our goals and better ourselves then we’re going nowhere and getting lost on the way.
