Couldn’t resist posting this link as Top Gear have obviously “stolen” our name for this article 😆 . It’s worth pointing out here that I didn’t take these images (though I wish I had).
Oh, and I want one of these “go karts”, I just need a race track to use it on 😎
Thanks to Mike for pointing out another totally impractical toy that I can’t afford 😛
We’ll be at the WA on Show exhibition this year at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre from 29th Feb – 3rd March.
We don’t actually have our own stand but some of our pictures (framed by Chris McCombie from Leamac Picture Framing) will be on display on the Sunset Coast Tourism Exhibition / City of Wanneroo stand (218) and we will be manning the stand on Sat afternoon.
Just in case the lure of my pictures isn’t enough we will also be having beer tastings from the Indian Ocean Brewhaus & Grill (Mindarie Marina) on the stand. Photography and Beer, what more could you want from an exhibition 🙂
Entry is free so there’s no excuse not to come down and see what WA has to offer 😎
Preliminary versions of this image have been around a while now being a favourite of the Marina for their marketing material (if anyone got a Christmas card from them you would have seen it already) as well as being used in some of our new bookmarks.
Well I’ve finally got around to finishing off the image and brought it up to a quality suitable for our Fine Art Prints. The first version will be displayed at Chris McCombie’s Gallery (Leamac Picture Framing) in the above panoramic format, so make sure you rush in to get your copy 🙂 .
Chris’s Gallery can be found at Unit 2, 21 Pensacola Terrace, Clarkson (behind the caryards, next door to Frendz Art Supplies).
Looking to get some framing done in Perth’s Northern Suburbs then pay a visit to Chris McCombie’s new Framing Gallery in Ocean Keys called Leamac Picture Framing.
Chris has recently moved from his home based business into his new shop at Unit 2, 21 Pensacola Terrace, Clarkson (behind the caryards, next door to Frendz Art Supplies).
We have used Chris for all our framing for a while now and he is a great guy to work with as well as very good value, can’t get better than that 😎
To complement his framing service Chris has designed his shop serve as a Gallery showcasing the work of local artists & photographers in a comfortable and relaxing environment. So make sure you go visit his Gallery and check out some of the incredible art he has there.
We have just supplied the following image of Quinns Rocks (QRS1.8) to Chris which he has framed and is now on display (and for sale) in his gallery:
Check out this Reuters Slideshow titled “You’re driving that?” for a light hearted look into some of the more ridiculous forms of transport around.
Thanks to www.robgalbraith.com for pointing this one out.
I have finally updated my web site with a new online gallery featuring all my current work.
Hopefully this will now give me some more time to start working through my enormous backlog of photo shoots to create some new images.
Just to wet the appetite here is a new image of Boranup Forest from my recent trip to Margaret River:
I’m planning to print this one on canvas and maybe create a vertical tryptic out of it as well.
For those Chocolate addicts out there I highly recommend a trip to the Chocolate Drops Tearooms in Yanchep National Park.
It’s run but a great friend of ours, Sue Dash, who makes all the Chocolates in the Tearooms and they are absolutely delicious as well as coming in all shapes, sizes and flavours. Even if you don’t like chocolate (as if that’s possible) you can have some lunch while your friends and family stuff themselves with goodies.
And while you’re there grab one of their new Family Fun Passes for discounted access to The Maze, Wanneroo Botanic Gardens and the Gravity Discovery Centre and a bag of chocolates thrown in.
